Scope

This notice describes information handled through firequark.com, including the project-contact form, device-local cart and Stripe-hosted checkout. A client application may have a separate policy and data controller.

Information you submit

The contact form accepts your name, email, optional company, selected interest and project description. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, protected health information or other regulated records through that form.

Checkout

Card details are entered on Stripe-hosted Checkout and are not collected by Firequark's website. Firequark receives limited transaction and session information needed to reconcile checkout and delivery. The initial release uses Stripe sandbox and does not collect a real payment.

Technical information

The hosting environment may record ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, requested path and time for security, diagnostics and abuse prevention. The contact and checkout endpoints also use bounded rate-control records. Retention depends on operational, security, accounting and legal needs and the configured providers.

How information is used

• Respond to an inquiry and discuss requested software work.
• Prepare, schedule and deliver an accepted scope.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot and reconcile the website and checkout flow.
• Maintain records required for contracts, fraud prevention, accounting or law.

Providers

DreamHost hosts the public site and server endpoints. Stripe hosts checkout. Google Fonts receives a normal network request when the browser loads the selected typefaces. Email providers process messages used to respond. Each provider processes information under its own terms and configured service relationship.

Sale and advertising

Firequark does not use the contact information submitted through this site to sell personal information. This release does not include advertising trackers.

Your request

You may request access, correction or deletion of information associated with an inquiry by emailing sales@firequark.com. Some records may need to be retained for security, accounting, contractual or legal reasons. Rights vary by jurisdiction.

Security and changes

Reasonable technical and organizational controls reduce risk but no internet service can promise absolute security. This notice may change when providers, checkout mode or data practices change; the date above identifies the published version.
