A storefront is a revenue system, not a brochure

Most e-commerce projects are sold as design work and delivered as design work, which is why so many beautiful stores convert badly. The money is made in the boring places: search that finds the product, a checkout that does not ask twice, inventory that is honest about stock, and emails that arrive when they should.

We start from the funnel and work outward. What does someone have to believe to buy this, how many steps stand between wanting it and owning it, and which of those steps can be deleted?

B2B is a different animal

B2B commerce has customer-specific pricing, approval chains, purchase orders, quotes that become orders, and buyers who are spending somebody else's money against a process. Running it on a consumer platform means fighting the platform in every sprint. We build B2B properly, and we will tell you when your catalogue has outgrown the tool you are on.

Deliverables

What you
actually get.

01

Platform choice, argued

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom, chosen from catalogue size, pricing rules and integration needs — not from our comfort.

02

Checkout that converts

Fewest possible fields, honest shipping and tax, wallet payments, and a guest path that does not punish first-time buyers.

03

Catalogue and search

Faceted search, merchandising rules and product data structured so search actually works.

04

Inventory and ERP sync

Stock, pricing and orders synchronised with the system your operations team already lives in.

05

Subscriptions and B2B pricing

Recurring billing, customer-specific price lists, quotes, approvals and purchase orders.

06

Post-purchase automation

Confirmations, fulfilment updates, review requests and win-back flows, instrumented so you can see what they earn.

Questions

Before you
commit.

Shopify or custom?
Shopify if your catalogue and rules fit its model — the hosting, payments and compliance you get for the fee are hard to beat. Custom when per-customer pricing, approval chains or unusual fulfilment mean you would spend every sprint fighting it.
Can you migrate our existing store?
Yes, including products, customers, order history and — importantly — the URLs. A migration that loses search rankings has cost you more than it saved.
Do you handle payments and PCI?
We integrate hosted payment providers so card data never touches your server, which keeps your PCI scope as small as it can be. We are engineers, not your QSA, and we say so in writing.
What about performance on big catalogues?
Faceted search, indexed queries, caching and image pipelines are scoped from the start. A ten-thousand-SKU store is an architecture problem before it is a design problem.
