Discovery that maps the real process
We watch how the work is actually done, not how the org chart says it is. The gap between the two is where most software projects die.
Service 01 — Software development
Consumer oriented, enterprise oriented, vertical or horizontal — it does not matter. We build desktop-class software around the way your business already works instead of forcing you into somebody else's product.
Most companies do not start out wanting custom software. They start out with a spreadsheet, then a SaaS subscription, then three SaaS subscriptions and a person whose actual job is copying data between them. Custom software becomes the cheaper option at the point where the workarounds cost more than the build.
We look for that line honestly. If a product on the market does eighty percent of what you need and you can live with the other twenty, we will tell you to buy it. When we do build, it is because the process you run is the thing that makes you money and bending it to fit a generic tool would cost you more than the licence saves.
Consumer software has to be obvious in eight seconds. Enterprise software has to survive an audit and a staff turnover. Vertical software has to speak your industry's vocabulary exactly. Horizontal software has to be flexible enough for a dozen different teams. We have shipped all four, and the differences show up in the architecture long before they show up in the interface.
Deliverables
We watch how the work is actually done, not how the org chart says it is. The gap between the two is where most software projects die.
Data model, service boundaries and integration points, chosen so the cheap decision now is not the expensive one later.
On a URL you can open, with your stakeholders in the review. Not a status percentage in a spreadsheet.
Automated suites and scenario coverage gate every release. QA is part of the price, never an upsell.
Your cloud, our cloud, your own servers or classic shared hosting. We build for the environment you actually have.
Architecture notes, runbooks, credentials and a recorded walkthrough, so you can take it in-house whenever you want.
Shapes of the work
| Software type | What it usually replaces | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Internal operations tool | A spreadsheet plus three people re-keying data | 6–12 weeks |
| Customer-facing portal | Email threads and PDF attachments | 8–16 weeks |
| Vertical industry system | A twenty-year-old desktop app nobody can modify | 4–9 months |
| Horizontal platform | Four SaaS subscriptions and a sync problem | 3–7 months |
Stack
We work in your stack when you have one. These are our defaults when the choice is ours.
